This splendid union - ecological tourism along side visiting the most charming historical and naturalistic places in an area of Tuscany - is what the cycle tourist route project ' The Routes of the Panther' is based on.

 A project promoted by the Province of Lucca with the support of The Tuscan Region, The Mountain Disrict Community of Garfagnana, Media Valle of Serchio, Uppuer Versilia and the Lucchese Area, and funds from the Community Program Leader Plus.

On the network with this project there are the infrmation offices, farm holidays and equipped receptive structures, businesses that sell specific products, service points, maintence and custody of the bicycles. Structures where tourists can rent bicycles and satellite navigators.

Thanks to the cooperation with Trenitalia, cycling tourists can ha ve adventures through the proposed itineries using the train for the transportation their bicycles.
